With No Canary’s Battery-to-Black Mass Recycling, more materials can be recovered with lithium, cobalt, nickel, copper, graphite, aluminum, the organic carbonates and manganese than in older process variants for recycling lithium-ion batteries.

In particular, the efficient recovery of lithium, cobalt, nickel and graphite guarantees decisively increased revenues compared to competitive technologies. In addition, energy and costs are saved by not having to carry out thermal deactivation. Inerting by using vacuum crushing saves nitrogen and thus energy.
